Break The Cycle Foundation exists to support children of incarcerated persons and their families who reside in the state of Tennessee. Because we believe that education is the key to preventing second-generation crime, we award scholarships to help children of inmates “turn the page” on the past, and secure a brighter and more prosperous future.

The Foundation also undertakes additional services to include, without limitation: the providing of Boys and Girls Club memberships; individual and family counseling; job and housing assistance programs; and other activities designed to reduce the rate of recidivism.
